At the Freshfields foyer in THE FOUR Frankfurt, Jorinde Voigt’s site-specific “Folded Time” installation turns the space into a continuous composition of art, architecture and material.

Mirrored steel, deep blue velvet, raw concrete and Formpark Quadrato Oak Crema come together in a richly layered interior. The oak floor provides a quiet, natural foundation – carrying the space from the sculptural bar to the more intimate lounge.

Some spaces carry their history quietly. In this intimate retreat, the sculptural fireplace anchors the room, while warm oak and subtle changes in level lead into the adjoining spaces. Formpark Quadrato creates continuity without diminishing the character of the existing architecture. A fitting final chapter to Entre Rue & Jardin – a home shaped by the dialogue between past and present.

Here, daylight becomes part of the architecture. Beneath the preserved beams, Formpark Quadrato brings warmth, depth and a gentle rhythm to the dining area as its herringbone pattern moves across the room. Historic character and contemporary simplicity meet in a space made for gathering – open, calm and quietly connected to the rest of the home.

Step by step, the home unfolds. The warmth of oak continues from the parquet to the staircase, guiding the eye through the duplex and connecting its different levels. In this quiet interplay of light, material and movement, every transition becomes part of the architecture.

Between street and garden, past and present: this 15th-century winegrower’s house in Auvernier has been thoughtfully transformed into a contemporary duplex. Our series begins in the kitchen and central passage, where bespoke oak cabinetry and integrated benches turn a transitional space into an architectural feature. Running continuously through the home, Formpark Quadrato brings rhythm, warmth and unity to two once-separate buildings.
