Finally sharing a proposal we’ve been keeping in our archives.

In 2024, a Swiss company approached us to develop a concept for temporary stays. The search for potential locations took us to Geneva, the Swiss Alps and Saint-Tropez, shaping the proposal as we explored each setting.

The project didn’t move forward, but we still wanted to give it a place here.

ASA.035_ALFAR

Last year, we helped .alfar design their second space in Passatge Sant Benet, creating a place of their own to teach and share their practice, while adapting their existing workshop so they could collaborate with other professionals in the field.

A space for making, learning and sharing, designed around the way they work with ceramics.

This month, .alfar turns 5, and we’ve already watched their video of how they made the cake about 100 times.

The kitchen at combines bespoke cabinetry with open shelving, allowing everyday objects and carefully selected pieces to become part of the space and its material palette.

The original wooden beams and arched openings at are combined with bespoke elements, such as the built-in sofa, creating a dialogue between the existing architecture and the new interventions.

At the entrance of the restaurant, this corner introduces the atmosphere of kindkitchen.bcn through colour, texture and everyday gestures inspired by the market.

From Porto to Barcelona, kindkitchen.bcn brings the flavours of the market directly to the table and into the space.

A 100% plant-based restaurant inspired by the colours, textures and everyday gestures of the market. The interior translates this energy into a warm and playful environment, where food and space become part of the same experience.

A place where the market is not only the starting point for the menu, but also becomes part of the architecture.
