Only by visiting a museum can I truly settle my mind and focus on learning; standing for a long time before a piece of antique porcelain—even with the glass barrier—I feel as though I can almost touch the vicissitudes of history from centuries past.

Dating back to the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty, this exquisite work is composed of three parts and showcases a combination of techniques: *famille rose* enameling, hand-carved openwork, hand-painted floral and bird motifs, and gilding.
