Some spaces carry a story that goes beyond their architecture.
Following the 2024 DANA floods, Isabel and Beatriz Blanco of returned to Ibis Alfafar to rethink a project they had designed years earlier. The result is a new interpretation of the space, where simplicity becomes the guiding principle.
A continuous layout connects the communal areas, softened by flowing curtains and honest materials. Red accents bring rhythm and contrast, while artworks by Valencian artists establish a dialogue between contemporary interiors and local identity.
A reminder that meaningful design doesn't simply restore a space. It gives it a new way to belong.
