Some new pieces from my latest collection ❤️‍🔥

This collection is about burnout. But not the kind where you stop.

It’s when you’re completely exhausted, your head is full, you have nothing left to give… and somehow you still need to create. Not because you’re productive or inspired, but because not creating feels even worse.

You’re burnt out, but you cannot not create. You have to make something, no matter what, because it’s one of the few moments when you actually feel alive.

And I think all of that ended up in these pieces. They feel tired and intense and alive at the same time.

So this collection is about creating not because you have the energy, but because creating is where you go to find it again

The sea, stones, the night sky, crystals… I see colors and textures I love, and sooner or later they somehow find their way into my ceramics.

I never try to copy what I see exactly. It’s more about capturing a little piece of the feeling.

Every time I watch myself throwing, I see all the things I could’ve done better. The centering. The coning. That one pull that makes me question my life choices. 😂

So a lot of these videos never make it out of my camera roll.

But pottery is a process — and apparently, so is learning to stop judging myself frame by frame.

And guys, pottery takes LONGGG. Throw. Wait. Trim. Wait. Fire. Glaze. Fire again. Wait some more.

I glazed this little lady yesterday, and now she’s off to the kiln🥹

Hopefully, next Saturday we’ll finally get to see her shine

A little color goes a long way ✨

People always ask me how I got into pottery.

The truth? I should probably warn you not to.

Because pottery has a strange way of taking over your life.

You stop buying mugs because you think, I can make that.

You celebrate a perfectly centered lump of clay like you’ve won the lottery.

You spend hours on a piece that might crack in the kiln and somehow you’re excited to try again.

People also love saying, “It’s so good to have a hobby. It gives you energy.”

Energy? 😂 What energy?

After a few hours in the studio my back hurts, my hands are dry, there’s clay in my hair, and my house somehow needs cleaning again.

But then I look at that little mug or bowl I made with my own hands… and I can’t wait to do it all over again.

Somewhere along the way, pottery stops being just a hobby. It becomes the place where your mind finally goes quiet.

So yes… don’t start pottery.

Unless you’re ready to fall completely in love with it. 🤍

When I first started pottery, there were so many things no one told me.

These are just a few things that came to mind, but if there’s one message I want every beginner to hear, it’s this:

Keep going.

Every potter has made wonky bowls, collapsed cylinders, cracked mugs, and countless pieces that never made it to the kiln.

Trust the process. Practice often. Be patient with yourself.

You will become better at this. 🤍
