Delicate gowns, sculptural forms, historic textiles and smaller costume objects are displayed with attention to material, shape and detail.
Selected FRANK museum grade acrylic cases were used in the exhibition. Their minimalistic and transparent design helps keep the focus on the objects themselves, without adding visual distraction.
For us, a good showcase should protect the object, support the exhibition design and remain as quiet as possible.

𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝗯𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆.
The “Brown Box” was the prototype for the first multiplayer, multi-program video game system, developed between 1967 and 1969 by Ralph Baer and his colleagues.
Displayed at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History in Washington, D.C., as part of the Inventing in America exhibition, this object tells an important story about invention, experimentation and the early history of video gaming. The museum describes Ralph Baer’s Inventor’s Workshop as a landmark object in this area, with the “Brown Box” recognised as the first video gaming system.
The object is presented in a FRANK museum-grade acrylic case, offering clear visibility, protection and a clean display solution that allows the artefact itself to remain the focus.
A good showcase should not compete with the object. It should protect the story inside.

Some objects carry more than history. They carry a personal story.
At the Rochester Museum and Science Center Strasenburgh Planetarium in US, a NASA flight suit from 1998 once worn by astronaut Pamela Melroy is presented in a full size museum grade acrylic display case produced by FRANK.
Gifted to the museum by Melroy herself, the suit connects an extraordinary space career with a story that is also deeply personal to Rochester, the city she considers her hometown.

The Century Vase (1876), in the collection of the High Museum of Art, Atlanta, is a beautiful example of how decorative arts can carry history, symbolism, and national identity in one extraordinary piece. Every detail adds meaning, and every surface tells part of the story.
