A masterclass in minimalist postmodernism:
Air sofa by Burkhard Vogtherr for Hain & Thome, 1980s

This sofa is just as much a sculptural object as a practical seat. With its soft, rounded forms combined with a structural elevation, the result is a floating appearance that creates a subtle interplay with its surroundings. Beautiful patina with light grey leather, faded by time.

Squeezing in a little family getaway for the upcoming holiday 🌳 Ikones is closed tomorrow and Friday, but I’ll be back in store this Saturday for some late-afternoon hours (15-19).

New in: 1970s triple-armed floor lamp by Egon Hillebrand. Soft light and flower-shaped shades, made from polymer resin. Arms adjustable in any direction.

For now only available in store, welcome by Lenaustrasse 23 to see it glow in person 🌟
