Meet the designers

This is Franziska Reuber – owner and designer of Reuber Henning.
She is the heart and soul of the company. What started as a one woman show in 2006, is now a thriving company with projects worldwide.

Fanziska's artistic background comes not only from her art studies, but is also strongly influenced by her grandmother, who was a porcelain painter for Meissen. Her parents, who traveled to the Orient in the 60s, are certainly also to blame for Fransiska's curiosity about different cultures, which leads to her deeply passion for color and materials and has materialized in her love for rugs. While she is always searching for new production methods with a great respect for the tradition of the handicraft, the way of design always leads her back to architecture, landscapes and textile design.
Franziska´s creates with great perseverance and love for detail.

This is Max - inspired by constructivism and non-objective painting of the first half of the 20th century. The simple and unadorned design fascinates with its clarity and radiates great calm. The focus is on the material and the different knotting techniques. Max is strong and leaves plenty of room for other events in the environment.

After dyeing comes drying.
Here you see Jaya on the roof spreading out the yarn, working hand in hand with the sun doing the rest.
In the evening, all the wool is thrown off the roof to keep it safe for the night. this is always a great moment, because it looks like wool is falling from the sky.
