Stephanie Jasny is a Berlin-based industrial designer focusing on furniture, lighting and interior projects. After graduating from the University of the Arts, Berlin in 2008 she realised several projects with manufacturers such as Ligne Roset, The Hansen Family, Miniforms, Punt Mobles and lately Nomi. Between 2009 and 2015 she was teaching design-classes at the University of the Arts. She establis

hed her studio in 2010, after her graduation project, the floor lamp Cordula aroused great public interest and has been selected by The International Design Museum Munich for their permanent collection Die Neue Sammlung. In 2012 she has been awarded the winner of the German Design Award in the category Newcomer. Since 2019 Stephanie Jasny is the Creative Director of the Australian furniture manufacturer Nomi.

The sculptural base balances aesthetics with structural stability. Made of die-cast aluminium, it has a streamlined shape with smooth transitions. The longitudinal support is seamlessly integrated into the design, reinforcing the table’s solidity despite its slender geometry. nya’s versatility offers scope for personal expression, while its smart features offer convenience - as a fixed or extendable table.

Recently launched by TEAM 7: the nya dining table and chair blend soft lines, organic stylistic elements and striking details into an expressive overall look. Combined with the sculptural metal frame, the result is a well-matched architectural ensemble.

Embrace - Upholstered Bed

The expressive design language of Embrace is further accentuated by a piping on the headboard. This fine detail of underlines the high-quality craftsmanship of the bed and transfers its design concept like a design guideline from the headboard to the softly upholstered and likewise finely rounded frame.
