Two days ago, the place I call home and where I welcome my clients received a very special recognition.

The Waldsiedlung Zehlendorf in Berlin has officially become a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Every day, I look out of my office window and see the quiet rhythm of pine trees, carefully planned architecture and a neighbourhood where nature and design exist in harmony. It is a daily reminder that timeless architecture is about creating places that enrich everyday life for generations.

I feel incredibly grateful to live and work in such an inspiring environment. It reinforces what I believe in through my work at Conscious Design: creating interiors that are timeless, meaningful and deeply connected to the people who live in them.

Curtains, upholstery, textures, layers.

Fabrics lead the atmosphere of a space. They influence light, acoustics, comfort and character.

When textiles are part of the design from the beginning, the whole project gains coherence.

Colours align, materials speak to each other and the mood becomes unmistakable.

In my design process, fabrics are a strategic element that brings depth, softness and elegance to every interior.

There are hundreds of shades of green.

Some feel calm and timeless.
Others feel cold, too bright or simply out of place.

The right green is never chosen on its own. It depends on the natural light, the surrounding materials, the architecture and the atmosphere you want to create.

A colour that looks perfect in one home can feel completely different in another.I choose them for the space, for the people who live in it and for the feeling they want to experience every day.

The perfect colour is not the most beautiful one.
It is the one that belongs in your home.

My suggestion:

Paint at least three large samples on the wall.

Live with them for a few days.

Morning light. Afternoon light. Evening light.

The right green will reveal itself.
