SIKATÍ didn’t begin on a runway. It began at home. ✨
Founded in 2022, SIKATÍ originally started with African Arts, Decoration & Style.
I have always loved beautiful objects, African-inspired interiors and pieces that bring warmth, culture and identity into a home.
Friends would often ask me:
“Where did you get this?”
And at some point, I started asking myself a different question:
What if I stopped only buying the things I loved — and started creating and presenting my own vision?
That idea became SIKATÍ
Fashion had always been part of me. I love dresses, shorts, two-piece sets and silhouettes that make a person feel confident.
And as a curvy woman myself, I often felt that flattering fashion was either too tight, too short or simply not designed with different bodies in mind.
I wanted something different.
Elegant. Sexy. Confident. Comfortable.
Fashion that can flatter the body without restricting it.
Little by little, fashion became a bigger part of SIKATÍ.
There were many trials, many samples, different makers, mistakes, lessons, time, energy and investment.
But every step helped shape the brand.
In 2025, I presented my first official SIKATÍ collection at AFWC Cologne.
Since then, the journey has continued through platforms including Hamburger Fashion Show, Black Aspiring Creators, Fashion Week Nürnberg and ZEDEFILÉ in Paris.
And we are still evolving.
Today, I see SIKATÍ growing beyond fashion into an Afro-Contemporary lifestyle brand — where fashion, art, craftsmanship and living can exist under one vision.
Because ultimately, SIKATÍ wants to dress people.
Different people. Different bodies. Different stories.
And the name itself carries the spirit behind the journey.
SIKATÍ — “God does not sleep.”
