Let me introduce: the Störtebeker!

This bass is an entirely new model inspired by the legendary German pirate Klaus Störtebeker. The name "Beker" is derived from Störtebeker, whose story has become a symbol of rebellion, freedom and independence. At the same time, "The Beker" represents my personal interpretation of the iconic
Thunderbird-style bass, transformed into a completely new Ritter design language.

The starting point for its silhouette was unusual: two pirate sabers. Their sweeping forms define the body, while the sabre-like contours are accentuated in silver, evoking the sharp edges of blades cutting through the instrument’s light-blue surface. The blue finish itself represents the sea, the open sky and the idea of freedom. The inspiration for this Project emerged in a creative conversation with from the famous Rock`n Roll venue

PREVIEW! „The Sound of the Boston Celtics“ (SOLD)

This Intune frame is a special one, especially when you’re into basketball: it shows a picture of a packed Boston Garden (1928 - 1995 at Causeway Street) and Larry throwing a free throw in the Boston Celtics vs. Phoenix Suns game on November 8th in 1985. The won this one 125:101. The Boston Garden is now history, but for this Intune frame, I could find an original, certifided piece of the Boston Garden floor with an original signature of Larry Bird an integrated it into the guitar.

What an exciting project! Soon we will release more information about this one, so stay tuned for more!

PREVIEW! The Beker - A Pirate’s Spirit Reimagined

This is a sneak peak into my new model „The Beker“ which we will introduce to you in the coming weeks in detail. It is an entirely new bass model inspired by the legendary German pirate Klaus Störtebeker. Guitar Summit 2026 - Day two

It’s still time to visit us at in Mannheim at Booth 259 in the Musensal on Level 1!

And, of course, we still celebrate 30 years of Jens Ritter! So this year, we exhibit the first review in the in August 1996 that started my whole journey. We also brought along my first two basses that were discussed in the review to the Guitar Summit. Guitar Summit 2026 - Day one

We show a great selection of instruments, the Cars & Guitars Project “The Widowmaker” and a very special basketball-themed Intune Frame, “The Sound of the Boston Celtics”. For our 30th anniversary celebration we also brought the first two Ritter Basses and the first review in the to the Guitar Summit – and anyone who visits our booth receives a glass of Ch*****ne by using the code phrase “30 Years of Rock and Roll”!

Also we’re happy to introduce three new Models which we’ll talk about more in the next weeks: The Beker, The U-Bass and the Raptor Guitar. Stay tunded!

From trash to treasure. From waste to art.

Together with Jessica Cheam from and .impact, I created a one-of-a-kind guitar handcrafted from plastic waste collected in Singapore.

Fully playable, the instrument transforms discarded material into a piece of art. Showing what can happen when sustainability meets creative imagination.

The guitar made its debut today at Unlocking Capital for Sustainability 2026 at AT ONE Impact Week in Singapore, where I unveiled it in person.

Afterwards, the guitars will spend a year at The Nanson Club and travel into Singapore’s music community, where local guitarists will have the opportunity to play it and add to its story.

In 2027, the guitar will be auctioned at the EB Impact Charity Gala, raising funds for youth and education programmes.

One guitar. One year in Singapore. And a story that turns waste into something worth keeping.

Last Thursday, I had the pleasure of joining the After Work Networking Event at , where I shared the stage with co-founder Philipp Hartmann for a conversation about success, entrepreneurship, and finding your own path.

It was also the perfect setting to present my latest Cars & Guitars project, “The Widowmaker” and to give the audience an exclusive sneak preview of our very first Cars & Guitars Movie. The reaction was fantastic. Looks like this one is ready to hit the road!

AVAILABLE, The Dogtown Flex (2572)

The name makes absolutely no sense? I dreamt it - right before waking up. I was in Dogtown, somewhere between surfboards and empty swimming pools, and someone told me this color combination, on an R8-Bass, was the ultimate flex. That was it. No logic, no backstory. Just a vivid image and a feeling. So I’m trusting the universe on this one and offering myself as its materializing medium. Deep down - somewhere in the collective unconscious - this name probably holds worldaltering meaning. ;-)ritter
