If youโve been around for a while, you might know that Iโm an avid cycling fan. And while I didnโt think Iโd be hosting a special this year, inspiration came over me and I had to go for it. ๐ด๐ป
Recent events in my personal life have reminded me just how precious our time really is. Theyโve made me want to be more intentional about making space for the things that bring happiness and joy to life. So I thought to spread that message throughout this little corner of the internet and what better occasion to do this than . ๐
Iโll personally be riding 1/10th of each tourdefrance stage and create with yarn every day. But my version of isnโt limited to cycling or spinning. Itโs about making time for the things that bring us joy and taking a moment for ourselves every day. โจ
Whether you knit, crochet, spin, weave, sew, cycle, run or walk - every activity and craft that brings you joy is welcome. Letโs spend this month making time for our hobbies, moving our bodies (if we like), creating with our hands and reminding ourselves of how precious it is to have a passion. ๐ค
If youโd like to join me on the movement side of things, Iโve teamed up with Paige for the โPedal and Purlโ Club on Strava, where Iโll be sharing my daily rides throughout the Tour. There also is a small Instagram group where we can share our projects, rides, walks and little daily moments together. Itโs linked in my bio now for you to join! ๐ด๐ป
And because the time we get to spend doing what we love is a privilege, Iโd also love for this project to support a cause close to my heart. Throughout the Tour, Iโll be collecting voluntary donations for โDKFZ - German Cancer Research Centrumโ. Every contribution is deeply appreciated. ๐ค
