Little excursion into the 17th century during Easter this year @ Landleben1626.
A little overwhelming at first, lots of unfamilar people, probably the biggest househould I've ever been a part of since I do living history.
But also delicious food, great company, fun games and lots of new things to discover in an unfamiliar century.
By the way a great periode for really cool headwear 🤣

Useful for your living history pilgrimage through several centurys.
Quite happy with the result 😊(still there will be a Version 2 and 3 I think)
This one is made of ash wood and measures ca. 1,70 m...

I just realized I never made a post about the torneo in armatura organized by , which took place one year ago.
It was the furthest I ever traveled for an event and it was worth it 😁
The entire weekend is very hard to compare to other events since the "being in a role & doing politics" with your household were quite special.
This event kept you on the edge even or especially outside of the fighting part of the tournament.

Four weeks ago I made my first ring with a stone since then I'm looking for historical pieces roughly dated to the centuries I'm interested in. Let me tell you it is really tough either the object is dated with a 500 year time span or requires more skill and/or equipment than I currently have. If you have any afordable book sources with good pictures, pinterest sites , etc. Please leave a comment, I would appriciate it.😊
Anyway props where props are due, when I saw the awesome reconstruction of this ring from I had to try it myself. Please check him out and leave some likes 😊......
