Aerotec Group is adding new Wheels & Brakes and Non-Destructive Testing capabilities to its maintenance portfolio.

The new operations are being set up at the existing Kutina shop near Zagreb, Croatia, further strengthening the Group's in-house MRO capabilities and expanding the range of services available to airlines, operators, lessors and aviation asset owners.

"Adding Wheels & Brakes and NDT is an important next step in the development of our Kutina operations and in strengthening our in-house capabilities across the Aerotec Group," says René Mamet, Vice President Operations of Aerotec Group.

Kutina already brings strong expertise in aircraft cabin and component maintenance. With the new services now being added, the location is taking another step toward becoming a broader specialized component MRO center.

Together with Jerec and the Quality Team, he will help ensure that our processes and standards remain firmly on track. Looking ahead, Finlay also plans to focus his Master’s thesis on a topic related to Quality Management next year.

Master in Aviation Management – completed.

Congratulations to Utkarsh Pagare on receiving his Master’s degree from Technische Hochschule Wildau.

His thesis focused on the sustainability of repair procedures for commercial aircraft cabin interiors – a topic closely connected to what we work on every day at aviationscouts – part of the Aerotec Group: extending the lifecycle of aircraft interiors through repair, refurbishment and reuse.

A great achievement and another milestone on his aviation journey with us.

Balancing studies, work and aviation in real life takes commitment, and we are proud to see Utkarsh continue his path as Junior Project Manager | Purchasing.
