Before we start turning the drumsticks, we exactly weigh out the raw wooden piles and classify them into 16 different weight categories. 🪵 ⚖️
Each stick model is assigned to one of these and always produced from this exact weight category. That’s how we can provide an unique consistency – stick by stick, pair by pair.

Besides it allows us to technically produce every single model in a different weight class, if required.

🥁 How durable is a drumstick – and can you even measure it?

Together with an institute that specializes in scientific work in the field of musical instrument making, we’re researching the properties of drumsticks and developing test methods to scientifically assess their durability.

Using specially developed test rigs, our colleagues at the Institute analyse, for example, the sticks’ resilience when striking cymbals and performing rimshots. The findings are fed directly into the development of our drumsticks – with the aim of continuously improving their quality.
