CUDDLE — ATELIER PENDHAPA

Some objects ask to be noticed. CUDDLE asks to be used. A low stool in black oak, its rounded edges softened as if by years of use, though every piece is made by hand, to order, in Indonesia.

CUDDLE also comes in teak or lacquered wood, in different colours, finish and size the room calls for. Small in scale, generous in spirit: a seat, a side table, a place to set down a book and stay a while.

We are very proud to have Vandra rugs at Lumisol.

A rug begins long before the loom: in the spool, the fibre and the hands that know them.
At Vandra Rugs’ weaving atelier in Ukraine, established in 2007, artisans trained in local traditions work alongside Swedish expertise, turning cotton, wool-felt, wool yarn and linen into rugs that feel both graphic and grounded.

Each one is handmade, and it shows: in the slight shifts of tone, in the density of the weave, in the way it settles into a room rather than sitting on top of it.

ACQUA and INDIGO, table lights in deep, faceted glass under soft linen shades, gather on a table by Christophe Delcourt.

The glass holds its colour like water holds light; the shades turn it warm and low.

Three lamps, one table, one wall of colour. Rooms are rarely made by a single object, but by the conversation between them.

DESIGNER OF THE MONTH — BRUNO MOINARD ÉDITIONS

There is a moment when an interior architect stops designing around furniture and starts designing the furniture itself.

For Bruno Moinard, that moment came in 2013, with the launch of Bruno Moinard Éditions.

The studio creates and produces furniture, lighting and rugs that bear his signature, each piece made with the finest French craftsmen and each one an extension of the rooms he has spent his career composing.

Proportions that feels details that feel intimate.
The result is: timeless not because it avoids its moment, but because it was never chasing one.

PAULIN M101 — OZONE In 1964, Pierre Paulin drew a family of chandeliers for the Maison de la Radio in Paris. After that, they were never produced again, until the Paulin family chose Ozone to bring them back. Clusters of white-lacquered spheres on slender steel and aluminium arms, glowing in a warm 2700K light: 12, 8 or 6 spheres, or a single pendant.

More than sixty years on, they still look like the future someone once imagined. Soft, optimistic, quietly playful. Here in our showroom, set against colour, they do exactly what they were drawn to do: turn light into a gathering. Ozone | Made in France.

ETRETAT — BRUNO MOINARD ÉDITIONS

Some furniture borrows from architecture. ETRETAT borrows from geology. Its sculptural silhouette and bold, angular edges echo the vertiginous cliffs of the Alabaster Coast — the console reads less like a piece of furniture than like a fragment of landscape, suspended mid-air like a bridge strung between two wind-carved pitons.

The brushed elm grain, streaked like flint, plays into that duality — at once vertical and grounded, raw and refined. And it’s in the details that the piece’s wilder energy gets held in check: the softened surfaces, the quiet luxury of Tamo veneer on the base, tempering the boldness of the whole without ever dulling it.
Landscape, distilled into furniture.

THE PALM CHAISE LONGUE & OTTOMAN — LORO PIANA INTERIORS Every chaise longue makes a promise of solitude. THE PALM quietly breaks it. Its wide armrest — generous enough for a second person to perch on, left or right — turns a piece built for reclining into one built for company. Rest, here, doesn’t have to mean retreat. Paired with a subtly asymmetrical ottoman, the design offers two readings at once: a footrest for whoever sinks into the chaise’s embrace, or a seat in its own right for someone else entirely. The form itself holds that same duality — straight lines held in careful balance by soft, deliberate curves. Dynamic, but never restless. A piece designed less for a single body than for a conversation.
