Private residence, Ibiza.
In the dining room, raw concrete continues to set the architectural tone, balanced by warm materials, soft textures and carefully selected design pieces.
The Sibast No 8 Dining Chair becomes part of this considered interior — its sculptural silhouette and crafted details adding warmth and character to the space without taking away from the calm expression of the home.
A setting where architecture, materiality and furniture come together as one.

Concrete might not be the first material you associate with warmth.
Yet throughout this private residence in Ibiza, it becomes the foundation for a home filled with texture, softness and character.
White patinated oak, ash wood, Mediterranean limestone, tactile fabrics and subtle touches of brass bring warmth to the raw architecture — creating a series of spaces that feel both sculptural and inviting.
Almost everything is made to measure, allowing materials, proportions and details to become part of one carefully considered whole.
A home where contrast is not just part of the expression. It is what gives the interior its character.

A design from 1957, brought back with respect for the original.

The Sibast No 11 Sideboard was created by Arne Vodder during one of the defining periods of Danish design. The sideboard was originally part of a furniture range awarded first prize at Triennale di Milano in 1957 — with Sibast Furniture responsible for its production at the time.

Its understated expression is given character through reversible doors: wood veneer on one side and colour on the other, available in black, white, yellow or blue. A thoughtful detail that reflects Vodder’s ability to combine functionality with a subtle sense of personality.

More than sixty years later, Sibast Furniture and the Vodder family revisited the archives and brought the No 11 back into production — once again by the original manufacturer.

A piece of Danish design history, made relevant for a new generation.

A shared design history.
From the early 1950s to the early 1980s, Arne Vodder worked closely with P. O. Sibast Møbler, designing a significant part of the collection and forming a close creative relationship with Helge Sibast.

Their collaboration brought together Vodder’s refined approach to form and function with Sibast’s deep-rooted cabinetmaking tradition — resulting in furniture that became part of the international story of Danish design.

Among the designs to emerge from this period was the Sibast No 11 Sideboard, created by Arne Vodder in 1957 and originally produced by Sibast Furniture.
More than sixty years later, the No 11 was rediscovered in the archives and reintroduced in close collaboration with the Vodder family — once again produced by the same family company.
A shared history of design, craftsmanship and friendship, carried forward today.

In 2026, we celebrate 100 years since the birth of Arne Vodder — one of the influential Danish architects and furniture designers who helped shape the golden age of Danish design.

Born in 1926, Vodder developed a distinctive design language defined by refined proportions, thoughtful functionality and an understated use of materials and colour. His work travelled far beyond Denmark, becoming part of distinguished interiors around the world and contributing to the international recognition of Danish design.

Arne Vodder’s story is also closely connected to Sibast Furniture. From the early 1950s to the early 1980s, he worked closely with Helge Sibast and designed a significant part of the P. O. Sibast Møbler collection — a collaboration shaped by a shared respect for craftsmanship, materials and enduring design.

At Sibast Furniture, we are proud to carry forward part of Arne Vodder’s remarkable design legacy and to honour a body of work created to live on for generations.

Shaped by hand.
The Sibast Steel Bowl is formed from a single sheet of stainless steel, creating a seamless and sculptural expression. Available in two sizes — Ø40 and Ø50 cm — each bowl carries subtle variations from the hands that shaped it. No two are exactly alike.

Two designs. One balanced setting.

Sibast No 7 Dining Chair meets the Sibast No 3 Dining Table in a composition shaped by refined proportions, natural materials and thoughtful craftsmanship.

The sculptural silhouette of the chair creates a light and elegant expression around the table, while the No 3 Dining Table brings a calm, architectural presence to the room.

Together, they form a dining setting designed for everyday moments, long conversations and gatherings that last a little longer.
