Happy to see our Papilio lamps in the newly opened@massimocopenhagen , .dk and showroom. Designed in collaboration with and Arash Nourinejad, founder of ANOUR, Papilio takes its name from the Latin word for butterfly, and the shape carries that idea through: an abstract wing of metal that sits close to the wall and casts a soft, warm glow.

It's a quiet piece, but it holds its own in a room. Works as a bedside light, a hallway accent, or exactly what you see here, a gentle wash of light in a kitchen. Under the shell is the same LED engineering and meticulous craftsmanship ANOUR puts into everything they make.

New chapter in onyx: the PARS family grows.

PARS started with an idea: light drawn from stone. The columns of Persepolis, still catching sun after thousands of years, gave us the starting point. We wanted that same presence at home, built from natural onyx that took shape slowly, underground, long before it ever met light.

Now the family expands.

Every piece is handcrafted in our Rødovre workshop, in brushed brass, browned brass, or brushed stainless steel. Made to order, individually surface treated. No two pieces leave the workshop the same, because no two stones are the same.

The DONYA Table rests on a bedside table in a Copenhagen home by . Its opal glass sphere holds the light softly, giving the room a warm, low glow in the evening. Made by hand in our workshop in Rødovre, in browned brass that patinates over time.

In a Copenhagen building from 1879, interior studio has shaped a secondary home as an urban retreat. DONYA Spots follow the kitchen ceiling in a discreet line, and the DONYA Pivot Triple directs light across the hallway, three adjustable heads on a single canopy.

Every piece is made by hand in our workshop in Rødovre. The browned brass is a living surface that patinates over time, ageing alongside a home built to be lived in for years.

Some solutions do not exist yet, so we build them. For this private home, the client needed light that could move with the room. Our answer was a bespoke development: DONYA Pivots mounted on rails, custom made for this project in our workshop.

DONYA Pivot already turns at the base and rotates at the head. On the rail it gains a third dimension, sliding along its track so the light follows the life of the room rather than fixing it in place. Adjustable in every direction, and with the same expression as the rest of the DONYA family.

Every ANOUR lamp is individually tailored. Sometimes that means an unique surface. Sometimes it means engineering something that has never been made before.

The I-MODEL Cord in browned brass, above the island in Duncombe Hill by .design.studio

For this refurbishment and extension of an Edwardian home in Honor Oak, London, the studio designed a kitchen made for gathering, wrapped in a palette of crimson, burgundy and berry with a curved stainless steel island at its centre.

We love the metal dialogue here. Browned brass is treated by hand in our workshop in Denmark and patinates over the years, deepening as the home is lived in, so the contrast the studio designed only becomes richer with time.

The island is an .design.studio bespoke commission expertly made by with cabinet internals by .studio.

Every ANOUR lamp is made by hand in our workshop in Denmark. Components turned in metal, surfaces browned, blackened or brushed by hand, then finished with cloth and steel wool until the tone sits right. Each element is fitted and fine-tuned, approaching the precision of high jewellery.

We carry the knowledge of generations of Danish design traditions into every piece, so the craft is felt long before the light is switched on. As our founder, Arash puts it, "the joints become the ornaments of the design."

The I-MODEL Aura in brushed stainless steel, at home above the worktop.
One lamp, two light sources. A focused work light facing down and a soft ambient glow from the top, each dimmed on its own. The ceiling stays visually clean , and the room keeps its calm.

Designed for kitchens like this one, where the steel of the lamp continues in the backsplash and the worktop. Handcrafted in Denmark.

A closer look at the DONYA Spot in browned brass, from the V.15 project by

For this full renovation of a classic villa's first floor, the studio specified DONYA Ceiling Spots throughout the home. The surface is treated by hand in our Rødovre workshop, so every fixture has its own tone. It patinates over the years and deepens with the home around it, and the brass repeats in the shower fittings and cabinet hardware, one material running through the whole floor.
