Three burners, one finish time: teriyaki chicken with rice and pak choi
Three pots finishing in the same minute. That's not luck, it's planned backwards.
Start with the finish time and work back. Whatever takes longest goes on first: the rice,
12 minutes plus resting. At the rice's five-minute mark the chicken starts. The greens take
four minutes, so they start last. Three components take exactly as long as the slowest of
them.
Everything in this video is made on the stovetop at fixed temperatures - the rice program
in the app for the rice, 190° for the chicken and down to 130° once the glaze goes in, and
190° for the pak choi, lid on and down to 170° - so you're never standing there guessing and
turning k***s.
