IT IS ALL ABOUT CONNECTING IRELAND TO THE HEARTS AND SOULS OUTSIDE OF IRELAND
I’m a Danish woman with Irish roots,
My beloved Irish Grandmother always said to me:” Travel to Ireland, meet the people, get to know them, and very soon you will know in your heart, that your soul has found its home. Help others, like yourself, who is of Irish descendent, to bring a bit
of Irish with them back home in their soul. And remember to give something back to the Irish community too, promise me that.”
These words were spoken to me, all through my life. Therefore I have always known, that one day I would travel from Denmark to Ireland to fulfil hers and my dream to get to know more about Ireland, the culture and the beautiful nature. Professionally I work fulltime within the pharmaceutical industry in Denmark, but from May 2017 I have decided to chase my lifelong Irish dream, starting up a business. My first products are handmade cushions with an Irish City name and the coordinates from that specific city . This way Irish decedents and all people in love with Ireland will be able to bring back a lasting memory from the city in Ireland, where their family or friends were born and raised. Since I’m a passionate sailor it gives meaning to include coordinates and your special place will be easy to locate for everyone. You can order the cushion with any preferred city from Danish Irish Design. We also offer a cosy cushion with sheep fur on one side, and on the other,my grandmother’s favouritte Irish blessing written in Keltic letters;

For every sold cushion, I will donate 5% of the profit to an Irish charity. Every year I will pick a new good cause. In 2017 I have chosen the Irish Hospice foundation.
