aterialer. Mettehandberg.com is my online shop selling my art prints directly to costumers. We sell wholesale as well to selected vendors. I design and draw all my artwork which I produce in Denmark. Being a Fashion Designer I always enjoyed working with colours, paying attention to details and to work with high quality materials. My aim is to create beauty that is both timeless and contemporary. I enjoy designing with a timeless and Scandinavian feel to it- and to create a final product on high quality materials.

Sometimes it’s the little details that make a space feel complete.

This piece began more as a feeling than an idea.

I worked with oil sticks, watercolour ink and pencils letting colours and impulses lead the way rather than trying to control the outcome too much.

Fast and instinctive usually works best for me. The moment something becomes overly considered, it often loses the energy I was trying to catch in the first place.

Sometimes a work stays in the studio for weeks before I understand what it needs next. Sometimes nothing at all.

A bit like thoughts or impulses really - some stay, some disappear again. Good or bad 🤍

I never really know whether to call this my studio or my office. Maybe office is more accurate but studio sounds better ...

Lately it’s been filled with art, interior projects, fashion freelancing, learning my way around my new webshop, coffee and dogs.

I keep trying to straighten things up a bit…but it rarely lasts very long.

Most days it’s just somewhere between work, ideas and everyday life.
