Winner of the EDIDA 2026 in the furnishing category, the Teahouse Collection by .Collezioni and Christophe Pillet transforms the spirit of the tea ceremony into furniture — intimate, calm, and quietly refined.

Composed of a table, chair, cabinet and console, the collection draws from Eastern influences and rituals of gathering, where every detail encourages slowness and presence. Solid wood, delicate proportions and essential lines create a sense of lightness, while showcasing .Collezioni’s extraordinary craftsmanship and deep understanding of material.

A collection where artisanal mastery and contemporary design meet in perfect balance.

A fabric collection that feels somewhere between memory and imagination.

With ’s new Versi Liberi collection, traditional textile language is reinterpreted into something strikingly contemporary — abstraction meeting naturalism, figurative motifs dissolving into soft astral references.

Placed fabrics for seating, cushions and backrests become expressive compositions within the room, while large-scale curtain panels move like wearable couture for interiors — spontaneous, dramatic, deeply tactile.

Through layered textures, nuanced colour dialogues and faux embroidery techniques, Versi Liberi creates spaces that feel personal, instinctive and alive with character.

We’re happy to spot the Magia lamp in this vibrant project by .

Designed for a filmmaker in Munich, this townhouse draws inspiration from 1970s Brazil — warm woods, lush tropical greenery, and a rich, cinematic atmosphere where each room unfolds like a scene.

A striking contrast appears in the kitchen: an unexpected burst of yellow, stainless steel, and green marble that shifts the light and changes the rhythm of the space — a perfect balance of the couple’s tastes.

A story told through materials, light, and emotion.

One of the most NOVEL products presented during Milan Design Week 2026 is the Tambre bathtub designed by David Chipperfield and developed in collaboration with .design

Taking its name from the river Tambre in Galicia, it is defined by a precise use of okumè plywood. The material’s warm tone and fine grain give the object a restrained presence, while its construction, based on flat, assembled elements, remains clearly legible. All technical components are contained within the body of the tub, allowing the exterior to remain uninterrupted. At each junction, solid wood inserts soften the transitions and reinforce the continuity of the volume.

The project develops as a family through a gradual process of convergence, extending from freestanding bathtubs to more integrated configurations.

Woven Forms II: where art meets design!

On the occasion of miart and Milan Design Week, Amini and R&Company presented Woven Forms II, an exhibition that brought together eight leading figures from the worlds of art and interior design to explore the concept of the rug as an “artwork,” a unique piece, and a collectible object.

The exhibition marked the natural evolution of a journey that began in 2014 in Miami and continued in 2017 in Venice. Through this new chapter, the dialogue between the two partners has been further refined, demonstrating a profound technical and conceptual mastery: the rug has moved beyond its decorative function to become a three-dimensional canvas and a complex sculptural work.

The exhibition celebrated the previously unseen works of: Serban Ionescu, Joyce Lin, Roberto Lugo, Luam Melake, Rich Mnisi, Marilyn Pappas, Zizipho Poswa, and Sayar&Garibeh.

Novel Design team got a high dose of inspiration from visiting Un Ora di Luce exhibition by in .space during Milan Design Week 2026!

tells his story through lamps, lighting constructions and scenographic insights that lend depth to darkness and substance to light.

The exhibition, curated by Marco Sammicheli, is a mechanism envisioned for .space to give visitors a moment of wonder. Volumnia was established in 2018 and occupies the spaces of the 16th-century Basilica of Sant'Agostino in Piacenza. The church, for years left abandoned and hidden from the public, has been revitalised thanks to the vision of Enrica De Micheli, a gallerist for over thirty years.

An exploration of wall as object, surface as narrative.

Presented during Milan Design Week 2026, La Boiserie marks a new step in the practice of — where craftsmanship and material depth quietly redefine the room.

Within this setting, illuminated by , Swivel+ Chair in bosco green leather introduces a contemporary counterpoint. Sleek aluminium and smooth leather sit naturally against textured, timeworn surfaces — a dialogue between precision and patina.

A composition where past and present don’t compete, but settle into balance.

With , surfaces become waves of the Earth.

Clay finishes by this Italian company are something you feel way before you reach out your hand. Like sea air on skin, like warm sand slipping through your fingers, like the hush of waves folding into shore.

In Orijins Café, TERRABELLA in NEVE moves in gentle rhythms — soft, sculptural, almost breathing. Light drifts across its curves the way it would across dunes or water, never the same twice, always alive.

It’s not just texture. It’s atmosphere, memory, something instinctive — a material that speaks quietly, but reaches deep.
