My passion for architecture and interior design started when I was fifteen. I was fascinated by the ability to find solutions to daily obstacles through interior design.

So, after graduating from the faculty of Fine Arts - Architecture department - Alexandria University, I moved to the US, where my journey as a designer started.

I worked at Kawalek Architects then at Beer & Coleman Architecture, where I participated in several projects residential & commercial, including an assisted living project for the elderly, medical buildings and a car wash.

After thirteen years of working in the US, I moved back to Egypt and cofounded S*M Architecture & Interiors in 2018.
