There is an unmistakable shift in the air when hesitation turns into pure confidence.
That feeling was everywhere in the workshop last week:
That initial burst of adrenaline when Hatem Gaballah stepped up to the table saw for the first time in Power Tools—and that undeniable grin the second the cut slid through smooth, clean, and exact.
The playful, unrestricted creative flow as زهراء أحمد بهزاد and Maison de Toqa Elazzawi explored forms, textures, and designs in the Scrap to Art session.
The rhythmic, meditative focus of the Zero to Hero evening group finding their groove with the mallet and chisel on mortise and tenon joints—matched by the quiet satisfaction of the morning crew watching their timber frames lock squarely together in final assembly.
And wrapping up the week on a high note: our wood carving makers buffing the last details into their relief sculptures, holding up finished artworks they sculpted entirely from raw blocks of wood.
Building something real with your own hands just feels different.
