One of the bracelets found in the tomb of Shashanq II in Nanis during the Third Intermediate Period, Twenty-Second Dynasty: approximately 887-885 BC. It has the shape of Wadjet's eye, the symbol of the god Horus, above the hieroglyphic sign "Neb", which symbolizes the eternal protection of the king. Let's go back in time to the tale of another significant god in the pantheon of ancient Egypt! Horus, the falcon-headed god of the sky, who soared above ancient Egypt with his powerful wings. His legend is woven with battles against Seth, the god of chaos, for the throne of Osiris, his father. In one of these epic clashes, Horus lost his eye, a sacrifice that solidified his place in the Egyptians' hearts. Later This eye, known as the "Eye of Horus," became a powerful symbol of the god's strength and resilience. It was cherished by the Egyptians, who wore it as an amulet to ward off evil spirits and grant wisdom to its wearer.

Jewelry was a necessity in the king's daily life, as is evident in this piece. King Tutankhamun wore this bracelet as a child, as its diameter is relatively small. This bracelet was decorated with a scarab made of gold and lapis lazuli, the two ends of which were inlaid with inlays of jasper and poppy fruits.
