Still taking it all in. ✨

A few days ago, I had the incredible honour of attending the ICONIC AWARDS 2026 in Munich and stepping onto the stage to receive our Best of Best in Interior Design award.

Receiving the award from Lutz Dietzold, CEO of the German Design Council, was a truly special moment — one that I will remember for a long time.

But the evening was about much more than an award. It was an inspiring gathering of architects, interior designers, creatives and industry leaders from all over the world, with thought-provoking conversations, project presentations and discussions about where architecture and design are heading.

The 2026 edition brought together around 800 entries from more than 45 countries, with only 45 projects receiving the Best of Best distinction — making this recognition even more meaningful to us.

I was especially inspired by the conversations around how design can respond to the challenges of our time through a more thoughtful relationship with place, materials, light, use and responsibility. These are precisely the questions that continue to shape the way we approach our own work.

And beyond the stage, it was a pleasure to meet so many inspiring people and to share this moment with fellow designers and architects.

A very special thank you to the German Design Council and the ICONIC AWARDS jury for this recognition, and to everyone who contributed to making our project what it is.

Still overwhelmed. Still grateful. And very proud of our studio. 🤍

A day in Munich through architecture and light.
From a morning with .architecture.studio to an afternoon discovering the world of visiting the studio, workshop and some of their lighting projects around the city.

A beautiful way to experience design not only as an object, but as part of the space, the city and the way we move through it.

Thank you to the German Design Council for organising such an inspiring day.

La intimidad de vestirse.
Hay espacios que nos invitan a ser nosotros mismos.
Vestirse también es un acto íntimo: una pausa, un momento para elegir, sentir y conectar con nosotros.

Diseñar un vestidor no es solo organizar prendas. Es crear un espacio que acompañe nuestros rituales cotidianos, que nos haga sentir cómodos, tranquilos y en armonía.

Porque el bienestar también está en esos pequeños momentos que forman parte de nuestra vida.

El diseño también habita en lo cotidiano.

Throughout my journey, I’ve learned that building a meaningful career is about much more than creating beautiful spaces. It is about staying true to your values, embracing purpose, and designing homes that genuinely improve people’s lives.

Calle Balcells, in the Gràcia neighbourhood of Barcelona, has been awarded Best Residential Project (Small Homes) at the Prémios Urbana PUDI’26.
The project reimagines a once neutral and impersonal apartment as a warm, inviting home, where considered design, carefully chosen materials and a sensitive approach to light come together to create a space that feels balanced, personal and truly connected to the way our client lives.
To see this work recognised in Portugal makes the distinction especially meaningful. Our gratitude to Revista Urbana, to the team behind the project, and to the client who trusted us with their home.
