TB to this unique apartment

This is my largest project so far and definitely the most challenging. The apartment measures 200m2 in one of Barcelona’s widest avenues, Ronda Sant Pere, which is located in Eixample Derecho, but bordering another of our favourite neighbourhoods, El Born.

The apartment was completely neglected and uninhabited for the last decade, but still had the original features, red and black mosaic floors, high ceilings of 3.5m with crown moldings and artisanal carpentry. The building is one of most unique i have seen, a finca regia with a large wooden entrance door with sculpted lions and a very large inner patio allowing lots of light into all parts of the apartment, especially the interior bedrooms which is almost impossible to find in Eixample.

I decided to convert this large apartment into a three bedroom, three bathroom apartment, with a large living room with open-plan kitchen, and a gallery/sunroom. All the original features were restored and almost every item in the apartment has been custom-made to fit the space. This really is a one-of-a-kind luxury apartment that has no equal.

Alella Townhouse update:
We are almost there! The facade is painted in the traditional colors of the area, the floors are in, the bathrooms are tiled, all is left a coat of paint, new windows and a kitchen!

One of my first and favourite projects.When I came across a dated 2nd floor apartment in a beautiful finca regia building just a few steps away from Rambla de Poblenou, I knew i had to give it a new lease of life. With ornamented high ceilings of 3.50m and hydraulic floors, it had the perfect mix of original features to mix with a contemporary design. I converted the layout to make a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, second bedroom with another complete bathroom, large kitchen with eat-in area and living/dining room with direct access to a cosy, sunny south-facing 10m2 terrace.

Alella townhouse Project Update:

The old roof was insulated and replaced , the big wall to the garden has been opened and the balcony to the 2nd bedroom has been added. The installations are done and so is the AC. These guys work fast!
The materials are on their way - a selection of stone & wood that will give that warm rustic feel.

An exciting new project begins...

A townhouse or as it is called in catalan "Casa de Cós" which refers to the traditional houses in the towns and villages of Catalunya that were built during the second half of the nineteenth century .

The house is located in Alella, a town known for its wine & cava, on the Maresme coast just 15 km outside of Barcelona. The house was closed up and abandoned for years, leaving it in a terrible state. It needed some serious TLC!

I recently reformed this 3rd floor apartment in a beautiful “finca regia” building . It´s located one of my favourite parts - Eixample Derecha, walking distance to Plaza Catalunya and Passeig de Gracia.
The apartment measures 105 m2 has a rectangular shape with 3 exterior balconies to the street, which is rare to find in Eixample. I converted the apartment into a 2 bedroom (both with en-suite bathrooms), one master bedroom with exterior balcony and one guest bedroom with small interior terrace, large living room with open-plan kitchen and two exterior balconies, maximizing all the space and natural light to make a spacious and luxurious apartment.

I fell in love with this apartment just one minute from Plaza Catalunya in Calle Jovellanos, a quiet pedestrian street in the heart of the city centre. The apartment is on the 3rd floor of a renovated “finca regia” building with elevator. The apartment is completely exterior, has five balconies to the street and lots of natural light.

Originally it was a very old and dated apartment with 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, galley kitchen and a small living room.
I converted the apartment into a two double bedroom (both exterior with balcony), two bathroom apartment with large open plan kitchen- living room with three balconies to the street.
