From a former bank to a contemporary Opera Café.
The charm of Art Deco brings the classic Opera Café into the present, with a romantic twist.
Allegra, Madrid, combines the spirit of a piano bar with the lively atmosphere of an evening that unfolds after a formal dinner. Every element was meticulously reworked — from the columns to the architectural details — to create the feeling of a heritage that was found rather than invented, and then given a new life.
A magenta and pink carpet, reminiscent of giraffe skin, pays homage to Isabella’s Llafranc, while Allegra’s theatre introduces subtle references to Gala through tarot-inspired figures — connecting two projects belonging to the same group.
In a more intimate room, forty photographic portraits wrap the space from wall to wall, celebrating individuality and diversity. Their presence creates the subtle sensation of being observed, turning the room itself into part of the experience.
For this photographic commission, created together with Fede Delibes and Bosco, we invited friends to sit for a series of portraits — an eclectic collection of faces and characters that became part of the space itself.
