🔝 Going for an XL rug in large spaces is always a good idea. It helps to define different areas and adds warmth and sound insulation to spacious living rooms.

Here are a few tips:

1️⃣ The leg rule: In large spaces, ideally all main pieces of furniture (sofas, armchairs, coffee tables) should sit entirely on the rug, leaving an outer margin of around 30 centimetres.

2️⃣ Defining dining areas: If placed under the dining table, the rug should extend at least 80 cm on each side of the table so that chairs remain within the rug when pulled out to sit down.

3️⃣ Avoiding the ‘island effect’: A rug that is too small in a huge space makes the room feel disorganised and visually smaller.

🔝 Apostar por una alfombra XL en espacios amplios es siempre un acierto. Ayuda a delimitar zonas y aporta calidez térmica y acústica en salones amplios.

Aquí os dejamos algunos tips:

1️⃣ La regla de las patas: En espacios XL, lo ideal es que todos los muebles principales (sofás, sillones, mesas de centro) queden completamente integrados sobre la superficie de la alfombra, dejando un margen exterior de unos 30 centímetros.

2️⃣ Delimitar comedores: Si se coloca bajo la mesa del comedor, la alfombra debe sobresalir al menos 80 cm por cada lado de la mesa para que las sillas sigan quedando dentro al retirarse para sentarse.

3️⃣ Evitar el "efecto isla": Una alfombra demasiado pequeña en un espacio gigante hace que la habitación se perciba desorganizada y visualmente más reducida.
