Un evento de la communidad para celebrar el Día Internacional de la Mujer. Puestos de artesanía, m Craft stalls, cakes, music, tombola and a raffle.

Enjoy a fun afternoon out celebrating International Women’s day in Huércal-Overa. 11th March 2022, Plaza Mayor, Huércal-Overa, 1pm-7pm. We are organizing the event in collaboration with the Ayuntamiento of Huercal-Overa, Asociaciones de la Mujer and el Instituto Andaluz de la Mujer. Many thanks to them for giving us their support. Funds raised by the organisers are to be donated to Las Religiosas

de Maria Inmaculada in Huércal-Overa, specifically for their project educating vulnerable girls and women in Peru, important work which their colleague Maria Luisa Navarro Dominguez has dedicated many years to. Puestos de artesanía, tartas, música, tómbola y sorteo. Disfruta de una tarde divertida celebrando el Día Internacional de la Mujer en Huércal-Overa. 11 de marzo de 2022, Plaza Mayor, Huércal-Overa, de 13 a 19 horas. Hemos organizado el mercadillo solidario en colaboración con el Ayuntamiento de Huércal-Overa, Asociaciones de la Mujer y el Instituto Andaluz de la Mujer. Los fondos recaudados por las organizadoras serán donados a Las Religiosas de María Inmaculada en concreto para su proyecto de educación de niñas y mujeres vulnerables en Perú, un proyecto al que la religiosa huercalense, María Luisa Navarro Domínguez, se ha dedicado desde hace años.

Message from the ayuntamiento inviting all to our Mercadillo Solidario tomorrow starting at 1pm. The video message is from
huercalense Mª Luisa Navarro Domínguez whose project was chosen by the Centro de Mujeres and the Ayuntamiento as the recipient of the money raised by our raffle tickets, cake stalls tómbola, Ron’s challenge and kind donations that are raised on the day. She talks about her project which offers a brighter future, a home and education for young girls who would otherwise have little or no access to education in Peru as for example they live in remote places or have no choices in life. Maria Luisa thanks us all for having chosen to support their project and for our part, we would like to thank everyone who has helped so far from the bottom of our hearts.

We have tried to create a fun day with music and craft stalls and we hope we will see you all tomorrow 💙💙💙
