🇬🇧 ~ Form follow inclusion: like a cabochon stone gently and slowly smoothed by the tides, each fragment of granite imposes a constraint, dictating the shape of the piece that will welcome and magnify it.

Fusing with the stoneware body through firing, the piece of quartz, feldspar and mica alters the surface of the pieces by merging with them.

🇫🇷 ~ Cabochon lentement lissé par les marées, chaque fragment de granite impose une contrainte, dicte la forme de la pièce qui l’accueille pour le magnifier.

Lors de la cuisson, quartz, feldspath et mica fusionnent avec le grès, modifiant la surface des pièces en ne faisant plus qu’un.
