MIAD (Madrid Inside Art & Design) welcomes Porcelanosa (Porcelanosa), the Spanish multinational that has spent over 50 years redefining what luxury design looks like. Seven companies strong and present in 140 countries, Porcelanosa doesn’t just follow trends in the residential, contract, and retail worlds, it sets them, shaping a language of sophistication that architects and designers turn to again and again.

Behind the polished surfaces lies a group deeply invested in the future: from ceramic craftsmanship to bathroom and kitchen solutions and ventilated façade systems, innovation runs through everything they touch, paired with a real commitment to sustainable, decarbonized manufacturing. In 2025, that vision came to life at MIAD through a striking collaboration with Nothing Studio, where the pair unveiled a luxury bathroom that stopped visitors in their tracks.

We’re delighted to welcome back Laura Carrillo, who has been with us at MIAD since the very first edition.

Laura leads the international projects department at Carrillo, the Madrid-based studio founded by her family and now run together with her sisters. Her work has taken her from luxury hotel suites to residential projects abroad, always carrying that same contemporary, personal style she’s known for. In the first edition of MIAD, she created a striking hotel suite with Ascale, and her projects at other fairs like Marbella Design have picked up recognitions too, including one for best fusion of art and interior design.

For Laura, trends come and go, but personality is what leaves a mark, and that philosophy shows in everything she designs.

Some spaces stay with you long after you’ve seen them. This was one of them.

En algún lugar de Valencia, created by for MIAD 2025, invited visitors to slow down, reflect and reconnect. Inspired by the resilience shown after the DANA in Valencia, the space transformed earth, brick, flowers and light into a story of hope, care and rebuilding.

A beautiful reminder that great design isn’t only about aesthetics. Sometimes, it’s about the stories it helps us tell.

A space inspired by the essence of Andalusia, where handcrafted details, geometric patterns and warm materials come together to create a true refuge of calm.

One of those MIAD spaces that invited visitors to slow down, disconnect and simply enjoy the atmosphere.
