Hola, I’m Agnieszka and I am a mosaic artist.

I work with natural stone, glass and marble, cutting and placing each piece by hand, one fragment at a time.
I didn’t get into mosaic because it’s easy or efficient.
It’s actually the opposite.

It’s slow, repetitive, and sometimes, frustrating. It takes a lot of patience and attention. And that’s exactly why I keep coming back to it.

I used to work in a world where everything was about speed, output, deadlines, and constant pressure. And at some point I realised… I don’t want my life to feel like that.

Mosaic gives me a different rhythm.
It forces me to slow down, to focus on one small piece at a time, to be present with what I’m doing.

It’s not polished or perfect. My pieces are made by hand, one fragment at a time, and you can feel that in them. That’s the whole point.

I’m not interested in the rat race anymore.
I’m interested in doing work I actually care about, in a way that feels calm, meaningful, and sustainable.

I want to create things that bring that feeling into people’s homes too, something that makes you pause for a second, breathe a bit deeper, and remember that not everything has to be rushed.

It’s been almost two weeks since the Symposium, enough time for the dust and the feelings, to settle.
Here it is in reverse, from the finished landscape back to its beginnings:

The Road Within

This mosaic landscape reflects the quiet movement between memories, moments, and states of being. Fields and skies unfold in color, while a path suggests both departure and return.
Both idyll and transition, the landscape holds the gentle passage between worlds, carrying fragments of one home into another.
The journey turns inward, each fragment a step toward the stillness that lives beneath change. A meditation on belonging, loss, and the unspoken place we all carry within.

This tangerine mosaic began a long time ago, with my baby on my chest, picking fresh fruit in Valencia for the first time. Back then, I had no idea we’d one day move here.
Some ideas just follow you… until they make a full circle. 🍊
