We completed the final sealing phase of the yacht refit: after the complete removal of the old sealants to allow for specialized painting works, the SealingArt team applied high-performance marine sealants across the entire hull — both interior and exterior — including the glass panels and the joints between the teak deck and the hull, ensuring watertightness, durability, and a flawless finish.

We seal all types of joints—interior and exterior—ensuring durability, precision, and a flawless finish throughout your yacht.

Recaulking and sanding the teak deck on a yacht is a critical maintenance task to ensure the vessel remains watertight, durable, and visually appealing.
The perimetral caulking should be removed before sanding to ensures that the sanding process is uniform, providing a smoother and cleaner surface for finishing. Once the perimetral sanding is complete and the deck is smooth, you can then proceed to reapply the caulking around.
We used Teak Decking Systems SIS-440 Teak Deck Caulking, black.
