Life has been a little busy lately, so I haven't been posting as much as I'd like... but I've still been finding wee pockets of time to create. 🐑✨

This wet-felted collar, complete with long sheep locks, has been my latest project — and I think it might just be my favourite thing I've ever made! I absolutely loved every stage of bringing it to life.

Realised last night i never shared my purchases from It was a great event with a lovely atmosphere. I snapped up some goodies from a few of my favourites and a few new to me vendors. Not pictured is my copy of the Moorit magazine. Finally a crochet focused/Scottish based resource with some stunning patterns!

Finally finished my hexi cardigan after many months as a work in progress! It still needs blocking, but I’m so pleased with how it’s turned out 🥰
Made using a beautiful SW merino/nylon sparkle blend in a 4ply sock weight yarn, expertly hand-dyed by in the shade Dragon Scales ✨

I have been spending some time giving knitting a wee try again recently and this is my very first attempt at doing some colour work. It's not perfect but i'm so pleased with how it turned out 🧶☺️🐾

Wee cheeky souvenir from in Barcelona. Hand dyed Baby Suri Alpaca and silk blend in the colour Celebrate - unbelievably soft. The yarn on the right is something i have never seen before. It's almost like a thin ribbon.
Had the most amazing trip with the most amazing ladies for my bestie's hen weekend ❤️

I absolutely loved teaching my first beginners crochet class at Many Thanks last night. Such a lovely group of ladies who all did fantastic job! Looking forward to our follow-up class in 4 weeks time 🧶🥰

Tonight we had our very first Yarn & Blether at CenterStage, and honestly… it blew me away. This is something I’ve been thinking about for such a long time but kept talking myself out of — that familiar anxiety that nobody would turn up held me back for ages.
Last month I finally bit the bullet and decided to make it happen. I wanted to create the group I was looking for myself but couldn’t find locally, at a time that worked. And it turns out I wasn’t the only one who needed it, as we ended up with 12 people 🥰!
There was knitting, crochet, sewing, and lots of happy chatter. The yarn and fibre community really is something special. When people you’ve only just met happily help you untangle a truly disastrous yarn barf — saving you from cutting and reattaching — you know you’ve found your people! 🧶✨
