En .calpe tomamos una decisión desde el inicio del proyecto: reducir.
Reducir materiales, formas y recursos para que cada elemento tuviera la fuerza suficiente para sostener el espacio por sí mismo.
La celosía artesanal, las texturas, el mobiliario y la luz no compiten entre sí. Cada decisión tiene un propósito y encuentra su lugar dentro del conjunto.
A veces diseñar consiste precisamente en eso: decidir qué no añadir.

At .calpe , we made a decision from the very beginning of the project: to reduce.
To reduce materials, forms and resources so that each element would have enough presence to define the space on its own.
The handcrafted ceramic lattice, the textures, the furniture and the light do not compete with one another. Each decision has a purpose and finds its place within the whole.
Sometimes, designing is precisely about that: deciding what not to add.
