“Here is the Water of Life, the water that is greater than water—Kan, the water that frees the soul. If you be a Reverend Mother, it opens the universe to you. Let Shai-hulud judge now.”

The concept of supernova, the dying star has always intrigued me.
The force we cannot comprehend.
Something needs to die before new can be born.

"When a Truthsayer's gifted by the drug, she can look many places in her memory - in her body's memory. We look down so many avenues of the past... but only feminine avenues... Yet there's a place no Truthsayer can see. We are repelled by it, terrorized. It is said a man will come one day and find in the gift of the drug his inward eye. He will look where we cannot - into both feminine and masculine pasts... Many men have tried the drug... so many, but none has succeeded."

- Frank Herbert (Dune 1965).

Well it's the 41st trip around the sun for this old geezer.
(Or reached level 41?)

It's been a wonderful day.
Nothing special, just the way I like it.

Spending quality time with the two most important people in the world, my son and Susanna.
And our cats of course 😅

As a gift I got new indoor shoes, warm as the hell itself and Dune Awakening from Susanna.
And my son drew this heartwarming card.

I also received a pink glitter balloon from my four year old niece.
That was what she absolutely wanted to get for his uncle.

My mom baked me my favorite pie too.

So much love and tranquility.

And I basically don't smoke at all anymore, but today I made an exception.
Salty Dogs from the most important pipe I have.
The pipe has a story behind it, but that's for the few of us to know.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend, you all.

Type O Negative, has been the most influential band ever for me.
When the first leaf falls down, it's time for me to listen to their whole discography, non-stop.

What's your favorite Type O Negative song and memory?

Have a gloomy weekend you all.

Full bent and red were the guidelines.
My mind started wandering on the streets of Yharnam.
Full blood moon lighting dimly the surroundings, and disguising the echoes of the Hunters Dream.
Turning it into a nightmare.

The hunt is on tonight, my dear hunter.
Fear the old blood.
