I don't know where all the weeks have gone, but tomorrow is the official start of my maternity leave! 🤯💙

I'm happy I've been able to work until the very end of pregnancy, and probably still might a little bit (at least until baby arrives) but for the most part I'm gonna be offline for the next few months. I know I'm gonna miss my studio, I've never taken a break this long, but I'm also very excited about this new chapter!

I have scheduled a few posts so I won't disappear completely, my online shop will remain open as usual, and exhibitions continue running normally. You just won't see me here that much - luckily I have people helping me to keep the business running while I'm offline.

I hope you all have a lovely rest of the summer and fall, see you later in the year! 🫶🏼

"Veden Värit"
Print available on my website 💙

This is actually one of the oldest prints I still have available! It seems to be a favorite though, so it's not leaving my shop anytime soon.

I almost never paint abstract, but if you've been following me for years you may have seen these "trash paintings" before. The reason I call them Trash Paintings is that I only use leftover paints from my palette that would otherwise end up in the trash. These paintings are built slowly over months, one color at a time. It's actually a really fun challenge to paint with limited colors, it forces me to think and go out of my comfort zone a lot more than my regular landscape paintings. Also I don't want to waste paint. So it's a win win, recycling while having some fun.

This one is now available on my website / via dm:

New paintings now available! I just added these four to my online shop. As you can see I'm a little obsessed with stripes at the moment 🤷‍♀️ also I made a new abstract Trash Painting after a while! Which one is your fave?
