C'est dans son atelier- showroom à Avignon que Pascale Palun met en scène un univers très personnel, poétique et mystérieux. Les matériaux défraîchis, empreints de souvenirs, tels sont les matières premières de la créatrice. Entre ses mains, les objets usés, témoins du temps qui passe, retrouvent un second souffle et s'imprègnent d'une nouvelle histoire. Après des études de stylisme (ESMOD Paris)
et dix ans de travail dans la mode, Pascale Palun prend une pause pour élever son fils. Ces "petites choses" plaisent à ses amis ainsi qu'à quelques boutiques de la région qui lui passent des commandes. Peu de temps après elle crée, avec son mari, "Voxpopuli". John Malkovich lui demande de décorer sa maison et la présentation de son travail au salon Maison & Objets font que tout s'accélère. Des commandes affluent du monde entier : Japon, USA, Grande Bretagne, Australie, Europe… Pourtant, Pascale s'attache à ce que chaque pièce soit unique, fabriquée à la main et imparfaite. "Voxpopuli" s'adresse aux gens qui prennent le temps, qui se situent entre passé et futur et décident de se créer un intérieur infiniment personnel. It is in her studio/showroom in Avignon, that Pascale Palun sets the decor of a very personal world underlined with a poetic and mysterious flair. The artist uses mainly recycled objects as the basis of her work. Old materials -testimony of time past- get infused with a new life under the magic of Palun's hands. After studying styling at the ESMOD in Paris, France, and 10 years in the fashion industry, Pascale Palun decides to take some time off to raise her son. In her free time, she creates small pieces for her own home using anything she could find. Her friends and some local boutiques cannot resist her "little creations" and ask for more. A few months later, she creates with her husband’s help “Voxpopuli”. Her talent was consecrated when John Malkovich asked her to decorate his home, soon followed, by a one-woman show at the salon Maison et Objets. . Voxpopuli was launched! Orders started coming from around the world: Japan, United States, Great Britain, Australia and Europe... Palun, is an artist at heart, and makes sure each of her hand-made creations, reflect her soul in their uniqueness and imperfections. “Voxpopuli” targets people who embrace life and live somewhere between the past and the future; people who desire their home to reflect intimate style and charm.
