A ceremony terrace with the bay on three sides does not need an arch.

It needs someone to decide where the flowers stop.
We kept the masses at the edges. Hydrangea in three blues. Garden roses. White delphinium that holds the light instead of losing to it. The centre stayed open. The
horizon did the rest.

Less structure means nothing to hide behind. Every stem reads against open sky.

We learned this from the best in the industry, before we learned most of what we know about flowers: take care of the people first.

A stressed team makes competent work. A cared-for team makes beautiful work. Every studio we respect runs the same way — this isn't a soft policy, it's how the good ones actually operate. So we feed people mid-build. We let a break happen when someone needs it. We don't run rooms on adrenaline and short tempers.

The flowers know the difference. So do the people looking at them.

The Fondation Hartung-Bergman sits on the heights of Antibes, facing away from the sea. Two Nordic artists bought an olive grove here in the 1960s and spent a decade designing a place to work. Walls built on the golden ratio. Studios facing north for the light. No ornament. No excess.

The most atypical place on the Côte d’Azur. Also one of the most honest.

That’s the Riviera we work in.
