Bonjour les amis, you might have spotted a vintage Easter card in my decor, in one of my recent posts. I released a close up today: it a postcard I found in the attic recently. And look at this amazingly beautiful writing!!! This postcard was sent by my hubby’s grandmother to her cousins in the 20s/30s. It translates: « I’m sending you, my dearest little cousins, my good kisses and I wish you a Happy Easter together with a lovely weather. Simone » I thought you might enjoy this precious little treasure. Bon dimanche!!! 🐰💚🐑🔔🐓🐣🐇✝️🇫🇷

Bonjour les amis🙋‍♀️🇫🇷 today we’re completing the wee Easter home tour with views of the reading nook in the great room.
As usual the mirror is a family heirloom.
We may embrace a full view on our Easter decor from this méridienne chair when we take a cuppa, read a book or more prosaically when we watch television. It is such a relaxing place in our home.

Bonjour les amis🙋‍♀️🇫🇷today we’re exploring another corner of the great room at Easter, we say Pâques here.
I know you very much enjoy our Toile de Jouy dresser, therefore I’m always excited to share it with you throughout the year. I’m also always happy to find my Alice in wonderland bunny under his glass dome. One Easter after the other he makes my day!🐰🔔🐇 I trust you figured out the old blue doors are indeed the ones that were once set in the staircase!! I recently had the feeling they could live a second life on top of this dresser. I actually love the look of it, isn’t it a nice match? At this occasion, it gave us room to hung more family paintings on the walls of the stairway. You may have a glimpse of some them on the photos of the foyer in my gallery.

After three years with no Easter decorating in our home, I very much enjoyed the process and I realized I had missed it all way more than I would have fathomed.
I shared our foyer and the couch area yesterday, carrying on today with the dining table and the verrière window in the great room.

Bonjour les amis! 🙋‍♀️🇫🇷 today I’m sharing with you the last corner of the great room at Christmas: the reading nook. I’ll share a **Christmas Special** tomorrow for Christmas Day.✨🎄✨
Completing this Christmas Home tour 2025 with a glimpse of the kitchen viewed from the great room, through the verrière (indoor window).
I haven’t posted much about the reading nook, but you might get that the méridienne (day bed) matches the couch and the settee in the great room. Oui it is obviously another piece we purchased from LOBERON.fr
We were delivered a day before my back surgery and it’s been a game changer in my daily routine indeed!!! 🤩
I here enclose more close ups on our Victorianesque Christmas tree to thank you all for you so kind feedback for each and every posts of mine!!! You’re the best community ever!!💙

Bonjour les amis fans! 🙋‍♀️🇫🇷 how about exploring another corner of the great room at Christmas today: the dining area. Since I haven’t posted much this past year, you might be surprised to find out the toile de Jouy dresser is back by the patio window. You might get moreover confused to see the old blue doors, that spent so many years in the entry hall, found a new place on the dresser. I am so happy with this new display!!! 🤩

Bonsoir les amis! 🙋‍♀️🇫🇷 unveiling the great room today with… the Christmas tree! 🎄I needed a change this Christmas so I felt like using old baubles and tinsels we used 25 years ago. They had been stored for about 15 years… poor things, I feel they’re very fancy on the tree. And back in early September I saw that ad on Instagram for led candles on battery that can be hooked to the branches one by one. I purchased them and I must say I just love the very Victorian look they give to our tree! That’s such a nice change!!! Voilà les amis!
