In a Paris apartment by Hubert Zandberg Interiors the walls become a study in subtle layering. Bespoke plaster reliefs by Féau & Cie draw on the decorative language of French Art Deco, bringing depth, movement and a quiet richness to the architecture.

A contemporary interpretation of historical ornament, where craftsmanship reveals itself gradually, as Hubert Zandberg puts it, the layering is so subtle that “the room begins to vibrate.” 🤍

For PAD London 2026, we are pleased to present an exceptional boiserie in collaboration with Galerie Yves Gastou.

Originally designed by Jean-Michel Frank for the Guerlain family’s Avenue Hoche apartment, this oak-panelled boiserie, finished with a soft patina, reflects the understated elegance of Frank’s aesthetic, where modernity meets the enduring language of Louis XIV ornament.

Presented alongside works by Philippe Hiquily, Ettore Sottsass, René Cattaneo and others, the boiserie becomes part of a dialogue across eras, bringing together distinct approaches to craftsmanship, materiality and contemporary elegance.

As we look forward to returning to PAD London for the fourth consecutive year alongside Galerie Yves Gastou, we revisit the past editions of our collaboration.

Rooted in a shared appreciation for the decorative arts, the collaboration brings together Galerie Gastou distinctive curatorial vision and Féau’s expertise in exceptional woodwork, celebrating the dialogue between heritage, craftsmanship, and contemporary design.

In Monaco, a grand salon inspired by Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann brings the spirit of French Art Deco into a contemporary setting 🤍

Crafted by Féau Boiseries in oak and resin, the décor is presented in two expressions: natural oak, recalling Ruhlmann’s original material palette, and a white patina that gives the composition a lighter, more contemporary character.

“I am a passionate collector of maquettes for panelling.”

For Guillaume Féau, these scale models are more than charming antiques, they are vivid archives of the decorative arts and a way of bringing ideas to life for clients.

Among the treasures of the collection are maquettes from the renowned house of Carlhian, celebrated decorators to high society during the Belle Époque.

One of these remarkable models is the maquette for the legendary bathroom designed by architect Bélanger for the actress and dancer Mademoiselle Dervieux around 1780, featuring an extraordinary Neo-Etruscan décor.

The second, featuring a magnificent domed interior, served as inspiration for the entrance of Villa Fiorentina, where Feau Boiseries reinstalled the original dome from the George Hoentschel collection, together with its remarkable panels and arabesque decoration.
