Two simple tips that help my ceramics travel safely ✨

After many years of shipping my work (and a lot of trial and error), this packing method has proven to be the most reliable for me.

Corrugated cardboard + biodegradable packing chips, and the golden rule: nothing should touch the edges of the box.

We are used to associating power with hardness, as if strength required distance and invulnerability. But if vulnerability is part of our shared condition, then the ideal of being untouched, unaffected, self-sufficient begins to look less like strength and more like denial.

In that sense, tenderness is not decorative or apolitical. It disrupts the fantasy of self-sufficiency that patriarchy glorifies and that capitalism depends on, insisting that fragility is shared and that care is not weakness but structure.

When I speak about tenderness, I am not speaking about politeness or softness for its own sake. I am speaking about a deliberate refusal of cruelty as a norm, and about the belief that making space for care, grief, and sensitivity can reshape how we relate to one another. If we accept that we are constituted through our relations, then choosing tenderness becomes a way of taking responsibility for the kind of world we are continuously producing together.

🌸 I went for a walk with Cactus and ended up finding so many beautiful wild flowers that I had to stop and take photos.

I was actually surprised by how many different ones I could spot, so it naturally turned into a little wild flower hunt.

Maybe it’s the biologist in me, but I can’t help looking closely at tiny plants growing between sidewalks and in forgotten corners.

When I got home, I felt inspired to sketch some of them, who knows, maybe they’ll become ceramics soon 😃

Even in the city, nature is quietly doing its thing.
Especially this time of year, there’s beauty everywhere if you slow down enough to see it 💚
