Inspiration often happens away from the studio.

Whilst in Aix-en-Provence for Ironman 70.3, Lisa took time to soak in the architecture, materials and muted palettes that define the South of France.

Gothic architecture. Weathered textures. Soft stone. Warm tones.

A reminder that great design is often found in the details of everyday places.

A few days in Provence for Ironman 70.3.

Away from site visits and project meetings, Lisa, founder and creative lead behind R&S Interior Design, took part in the race as part of a relay team, finishing 5th out of 18 teams.

Endurance, discipline and attention to detail. Qualities that exist both in sport and in design, and qualities that continue to shape the R&S approach.

But for now, it’s back to the Alps and straight into a busy summer of projects.

None of this would be possible without the team behind it.

After a busy winter season, a day to switch off and enjoy our neighbouring valley of Chamonix was well deserved. Skiing, spas, champagne and time together away from site.

Spring is now well underway, with summer fast approaching. We’re about to dip back into design season, but first, we have a very exciting install on the way.
