A full recover and repair on these beautiful his and hers chairs — transformed from tired green velvet to elegant sateen stripes. The customer made a fantastic fabric choice, and the candy cane piping adds a perfect finishing touch. A real pleasure to work on! 🥰👌

A lovely little recover job in a cozy check fabric — perfect for the colder months. New webbing added to give the seat a comfortable lift. 🤩

The customer picked up two chairs at a brocante, but one had been disassembled and was missing several parts.
This was the chair I was asked to restore. I added new felt and padding to make the seat more comfortable, and the fabric the customer had chosen was bright and cheerful—perfect against the wood.
Since the original metal brackets for the back legs were missing, I crafted leather straps to securely hold the frame together. Typically, the chair would have a single brace at the bottom, but I added two per leg to help prevent the wood from splitting when the chair flexes.

A vintage desk chair with a completely collapsed seat.
I rebuilt the seat from the frame up and reupholstered it in a plush green velvet. It not only looks far more luxurious now, but it's also functional—you can actually sit on it again! 🤩

This chair had seen plenty of use, and the original webbing was completely worn out.
I replaced the webbing to restore proper support, added new felt to the seat, and now it's much more comfortable. The customer's choice of fabric looks fantastic against the natural wood frame

My first customer since moving to France!
These chairs were a new style for me to work on, but they’re very common here. The client chose a beautiful geometric fabric that adds a fun, retro vibe and pairs perfectly with the exposed show wood—which had previously been hidden.
