🇻🇳 Vietnamese cooking class yesterday night ✨ in Sofia, Bulgaria

Thank you so much to for welcoming me and helping me host this class - I’m always deeply grateful for this opportunity. 💛

Many of you may not know, but from 2017 to 2021 I lived in Bulgaria—something unplanned that became one of the most beautiful chapters of my life. Back in 2019, I gave my first cooking class in Sofia, sharing not just recipes but a piece of Vietnamese culture. Many people told me it inspired them to visit Vietnam one day, and that touched me deeply.
Coming back this time gave me the chance to reconnect with Sofia and share my food again. It reminded me once again that food is more than just a meal—it’s love, culture, and connection on a plate. 🌿✨

Un grand merci à Food Connection pour m’avoir accueillie et aidée à organiser ce cours- je suis toujours profondément, reconnaissante pour cette opportunité. 💛

Beaucoup d’entre vous ne le savent peut-être pas, mais j’ai vécu en Bulgarie de 2017 à 2021—quelque chose d’imprévu qui est devenu l’un des plus beaux chapitres de ma vie. En 2019, j’ai donné mon tout premier cours de cuisine à Sofia, partageant non seulement des recettes mais aussi un morceau de la culture vietnamienne. Beaucoup de personnes m’ont dit que cela les avait inspirées à visiter le Vietnam un jour, ce qui m’a profondément touchée.

Cette fois, revenir m’a donné l’occasion de me reconnecter avec Sofia et de partager à nouveau ma cuisine. Cela m’a rappelé une fois de plus que la nourriture n’est pas juste un repas—c’est de l’amour, de la culture et du lien humain sur une assiette. 🌿✨

Ce fut un immense plaisir pour l’équipe et moi de vous rencontrer et de partager un beau moment ensemble.

It was the very first time I brought The Kim’s Cook team to a Goa Trance festival in France. We've done quite a few events before… but never something like this. And honestly? It turned out to be one of the most beautiful moments I’ve ever lived.

It all started a bit crazy — the wind literally blew our tent away, and we spent two full days completely soaked, trying to keep things together and re-secure everything. But we didn’t give up. Once the kitchen was back up, we got to work: chopping and prepping nearly 300 kilos of meat and veggies, just to make sure that everything we served was fresh, tasty, and made with care for all of you.

But the best part? You.
The smiles, the hugs, the stories you shared, the way we danced together, the energy you brought to our little food stand... it meant the world to us.

I never thought I’d one day be cooking while dancing under the stars, surrounded by such kind and free-spirited people. But here we are — and I’ll never forget it.

So really, thank you.
Thank you for stopping by.
Thank you for supporting us.
Thank you for making us feel like we’re exactly where we’re supposed to be.

I'll be at Bordeaux Lac with my food stand every Sunday from now until the end of October. Check out the menu this Sunday! If you want to order in advance, feel free to DM me.
A part from my stand, there are many other authentic food stand as well from Laos, Thailand & Vietnam.. So if you wanna try some nice food for your Sunday Picnic, feel free to come!!
Please make sure you bring cash $$ and your empty stomach maybe an extra picnic blanket to enjoy your Sunday correctly 🙂

- 100% Homemade Ice Tea with mint and lemon
- Cà phê sữa đã - Ice Coffee with milk - Vietnamese style.

**** Main Dish:
- Bún Xào Style Mekong - BÒ BÚN With Beef - French Name ( I still not and will never understand why the french called it Bò Bún, but ok :)) I adapted.

I will be there from 10 AM - 4PM.

Moreover, there are other food stands with homemade authentic food, drinks, and snacks from Thailand, Vietnam, and Laos, all at very reasonable prices: 3-8 euros. You can also find some very specific veggies from Asia here at great prices.

They also accept cash, so bring some with you 🙂
