Getting lost in the process.
Whether I’m creating for Dissident, giving shape to my own obsessions, or working on someone else’s olfactory vision, I love how every project takes me somewhere different.
Sometimes it means exploring unfamiliar territories, sometimes rediscovering raw materials I never had a chance to work with before. But what I find most precious is getting so completely absorbed in the process that everything else seems to disappear.
And yes, often it turns into a bit of an obsession. A formula can be almost there, but there’s still that tiny detail that doesn’t feel quite right. Like a painter staring at a nearly finished canvas, convinced that something is missing.
And sometimes, after hours of trying to figure out what's missing, you realise the answer was actually to remove something instead. 😅
