A woodland memory, cast in bronze.
In NEST, Christine D. Rouvière transforms the quiet architecture of a forest into a sculptural cabinet. Cast bronze branches rise as the supporting structure, while polished brass mushrooms emerge like unexpected discoveries along their surface. A slender branch extends across the oak doors, becoming both handle and gesture.
The composition balances refinement with organic irregularity. Warm oak, textured bronze, and luminous brass retain the character of the natural forms that inspired them, while revealing the precision of traditional casting.

In JIG, Christine D. Rouvière composes light as though assembling a sculptural puzzle. Four columns of luminous selenite are brought together by a single cast bronze element whose textured surface appears to lock the composition into place. The junction becomes the heart of the piece—an encounter between mineral translucency and the weight of metal.

In STONE, bronze and brass trace an open architectural form around a vertical sequence of raw rock crystals. Suspended within delicate rings, each crystal appears to float, held in equilibrium while revealing its untouched mineral character.Rather than polishing away nature, Christine D. Rouvière preserves the crystals in their raw state, allowing their irregular geometry to soften the precision of the metal structure.
Each chandelier is handcrafted and can be adapted in scale, finishes, chain length, and crystal composition to suit its architectural setting.

In INO, Christine D. Rouvière takes inspiration from the bracket fungi that grow slowly along the trunks of ancient trees. Cast in solid bronze, the piece preserves the layered contours and organic irregularities of these remarkable growths, translating a fleeting natural form into enduring metal.

The textured surface captures every ridge and fold, while a concealed source of light radiates softly from behind, creating a luminous halo that extends beyond the sculpture itself.

Neither ornament nor imitation - a fragment of the forest, suspended between shadow and light.

In SOLSTICE, Adrien Aurel reinterprets the architectural language of Art Deco through a more organic lens. A slab of richly veined Rosso marble appears to float above a series of cast bronze supports whose curved silhouettes evoke both monumental arches and the unfolding rhythm of palm fronds.
The bronze surfaces retain the traces of their making, marked by texture and movement, while the marble introduces a sense of depth and stillness. Together, they create a composition that feels both ancient and contemporary, structured yet instinctive.

A suspended moment between architecture and nature.

In JIG, crystalline columns of selenite rise like a cluster of mineral organs, interrupted by a cast bronze block whose textured surface bears the marks of pressure, carving, and time. The bronze does not conceal the stone; it holds it in tension, creating a dialogue between opacity and translucency, weight and radiance.

When illuminated, the fibrous structure of the selenite reveals its inner landscape, while the bronze remains grounded, dense, and silent.

A meeting point between geological light and forged matter.

An opulent, neo-baroque composition where bronze, light, and ornament unfold in layered intensity.

BEC
A bronze form poised like a suspended beak, held in delicate balance above a quiet pool of light.
For many years, Christine Rouvière has returned instinctively to the figure of the bird — not as ornament, but as a presence. In BEC, that fascination becomes more abstract: a dark patinated bronze stem supports a wide luminous surface whose rough, mineral texture evokes both erosion and plumage. The upper element, finished in polished gold bronze, appears almost carved by wind and time.
Light emerges softly from beneath the form, grazing the surface below like the last reflection of dusk.

LIAISON
Out of the intense dialogue between Cinabre Gallery and Thomas Mang Studio emerges a sculptural lighting piece that unites bronze artistry and holistic
architectural thinking. Inspired by the interplay of bronze as a material and the
quality of light, Thomas has created an object that transcends the idea of a
conventional lamp.
