OFF THE BEATEN TRACK WITH THE PARIS TOUCH

Paris was founded in 2008 on this challenge : designing new items with materials and craftsmen we had not met yet, in countries forgotten by international trade. During our first trip to Albania, and thanks to the meeting of a gipsy hammersmith, we came up with the design collection of furniture tribute to scandivian icons, tailored in metal from scraps found on the spot : cans, bonnets, car motor

s and steel barrels. This first collaborative design experience "off the beaten track" called for many others and facilitated the meeting of new craftsmen, craft fanatics, material lovers, opened and ready to explore local material uses. Material imperfections, color variations, sheen, assembling marks are the signature of a long and precise craft work, making each piece unique. Support, follow-up and first quality controls are guaranted by a local association specialized in craft. By doing so Po! Paris links together sustainable development and creative design by bringing isolated know-how to international markets. Today, while continuing our partnership with Albania, Po ! Paris venture to explore new horizons, craftsmen and materials in Uganda. Paris is proud to introduce its designs.

A new woven story has arrived 🕊️

Nathalie Lété’s newest design for PO!PARIS just landed. a vibrant handcrafted textile piece designed to live both on the wall and on the floor.

Entirely woven by our Albanian artisans on a traditional loom using a mix of flat weaving, hand embroidery, and symmetrical knotting techniques.
Designed as a wall hanging, rug, or bedside mat.

Headboard or rug. You decide✨

This hand-woven wool piece was designed for both. Hang it on the wall above your bed using the small eyelets at the top corners or lay it on the floor.🦜

The bird motif by is knotted in symmetric knots between rows of flat weaving, so the subject lifts cleanly from the background. Some details are hand-embroidered. The ends are finished with a braid and colored pompoms.

Three sizes and a wide range of background colors. Each size has its own composition; one bird or two, depending on the scale.

Why wool? After 16 years, Here’s why wool has been at the heart of everything we make.

Since 2008, every PO!PARIS lamp has been made from a single material: felted wool. Not because it’s trendy. Because nothing else comes close.

- It weighs almost nothing. This sounds simple until you realize what it makes possible: we’ve created some of our largest pendants; pieces that fill entire ceilings, that transform the scale of a room without a single gram of unnecessary weight.

- It holds any shape. During the felting process, wet wool wraps around a wooden mold and becomes exactly what you ask of it. Organic curves, precise geometry, forms that glass or metal simply can’t achieve.

- It filters light, it doesn’t block it. The density of felted wool lets warmth through; not harsh brightness, but the kind of glow that makes a room feel like somewhere you want to stay.

- It doesn’t burn alone. Wool is naturally flame-resistant; it needs an external flame to ignite, and stops burning the moment that flame is removed. For a lamp, that’s not a detail. That’s everything.

One material. Sixteen years. Still no reason to change.

The petite applique is our smallest wall sconce and the one people reach for most.
Tactile dimmer built ino the base. Brass arm, felted wool, porcelain fitting. Assembled by hand in our Paris atelier.
